Ollloooooo Summer

I am not sure how many of you have seen Mega Mind, but Angelique and I have seen it a million times, and each time we seem to watch it we hear a new rather funny saying from the blue character. Angelique’s new thing to say these days, is Mega Mind’s quirky Olllooooo as opposed to hello, well this weekend the hats and sun cream were out, and the first thing she says to me once she got outside was Ollloooooo Summer, needless to say I almost collapsed. I was thinking to myself, she is just too cute at this age (well most of the time).

And to top it off, I was lucky enough to get all of two shots of my elusive one, before she ran away.

Happy days and here is to summer, bright and blue :-)

There is always a good couple of these, every time I pull my camera out, but as the saying goes, “i’ll take it” – excuse the pun ;-)

Precious Moments

Being able to capture a moment, is the very something I love most about photography, being able to give this to a dear friend is precious. To my noodle bugs, and my dear friends Lea-Anne and Greg, I hope to share many more precious moments with you all over the years to come.

New Season

Winter is over, and so is my hibernating.

I am sure that most have noticed my blog has been very quiet for the last two months, simply because I have been very blessed with officially leaving the corporate world and embarking on some very exciting new ventures of my own. My time has been dedicated to getting my projects up and running, and thankfully it was during the winter months whilst the wedding season was hibernating too.

Happy that spring is here, delighted to be blogging again and very excited for my weddings which are coming up soon, I have some rock star brides and grooms booked.

Just one for the blog:

Tarrin & Adam @ Misty Valley Lodge

Mike and I headed out early in the morning to get to Misty Valley, I remember driving thinking what gorgeous skies there were, and hopefully they would stay as is for the wedding (of course no rain too). It is so nice to get away from Jo’burg, and Misty Valley is in such a beautiful part of South Africa, just outside Machadodorp, plenty of views and all natural.

Tarrin and Adam had an intimate wedding out in the open, there were tears and laughter all day and throughout the speeches, very special indeed. They were rockstars for the creative shoot which involved climbing and speedy walks as the light was near gone. There were shooters at the bar and plenty of fun on the dance floor, a huge thunder shower later that night, but all turned out just perfect.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend out of Johannesburg, and for making this a special day for us too!

Here is a sneak peek into your day:

I forgot to mention, the CUTEST little helpers/page boys  in town!

See what I mean by CUTER than eva

This was our drive out of Misty Valley Lodge, I am not sure if this is where the name comes from? ;-)
