Dullstroom is one of my favourite places to go to in South Africa…. this last weekend before my wedding season starts again, we had a quiet, relaxed weekend away with friends…. (and a few; not so quiet tequila’s) ….  a perfect spot for falling in dams after fly-fishing…. sorry Greg …. laughs…. fresh air…. and models galour…. a photographers paradise….

South Africa is booming with Vibes and Vuvuzela’s…. Song and Dance….

I have been very blessed to go to one of many world cup games…. let me tell you, this was nothing short of an absolutely amazing event…. I love South Africa…. I love being a photographer in South Africa…. I love all South Africa has to offer….

Winter is here is full force…. the winds are blowing…. the skies are clear…. the light is just too gorgeous for words!!

This is a quite time in the wedding business…. perfect for finishing off the last jobs…. taking time with family and loved ones…. breaking before the boom starts again….

Easter is always a magical time for us…. easter egg hunting…. glitter and sparkles…. a time for friends and family… loads of chocolate eggs and sweets…. oh forgot to mention the lack of sleep for parents from all the sugar overdosed kids…. nonetheless magical, wouldn’t want it any other way!

The term holiday has always had a new meaning in our life since having Angelique…. Holiday?? What is that??? I don’t think there is a child on earth that understands the concept of waking up later than usual…. our December holiday this year involved Angelique in the pool 24/7 from approx. 7:00 a.m. till approx 6:00 p.m., running around looking for extra entertainment in between…. making meals three times a day…. looking for her favourite movies (this changed approx. 10 times in one day)…. going to the shops…. CLEANING THE HOUSE…. christmas shopping…. did I mention cleaning the house? .

None-the-less, it was a good break with family and friends.

Thank you to all that brought so much pleasure and happiness in our lives in 2009, and here is to 2010…. may it be a year filled with love, laughter, happiness and all things good!!

Oh, forgot to mention PUPPIES…. yes, we got puppies for christmas; well, at least I did…. for Angelique…. ok for me too

We also had to attend to tiny wounds…. too small for the human eye…. but VERY painfull and required alot of attention….
