 I’m pretty sure I have mentioned that I am super excited wedding season has kicked off again (I may even have gone overboard with posting pics here) …. following my sneak peek from last week, I was fortunate enough to shoot for Andrea at Kloofzicht again, what a gorgeous venue….

It amazes me how many different locations one can find at any venue to do their shoot…. Andrea (rock star) I had an absolute blast as usual

Deidre and Ramon, thank you for a very special day…. including the dogs…. black burn grass…. and “shanty town” we managed to find, you were both fantastic!! Oooh and Deidre – loved the shoes…..

A mom and dad’s love for their child is always something that really blows me away on such a special day…. tears of pure joy and happiness…. I cannot wait for my baby girl’s day….

Wedding Season has kicked off again, I started mine with shooting with Andrea …. my inspiration and mentor….

Here is a sneak peek into Deidre and Ramon’s wedding day….

The blog has been a little quiet over this last month…. partly because winter is not booming in the wedding photography industry in SA…. and partly because I have enjoyed a bit of catch up time with my family and friends….but mainly because I have been putting together my new wedding photography portfolio (my last wedding album was stolen out my car recently….I know…. sad but true)….

Portfolio findings….

Soccer balls…. Stadiums…. Face Paint…. Atmosphere…. Hype…. Excitement…. Wonder….Amazement…. Energy…. Joy…. Unity…. and Beer – GOOD Beer!

South Africa is booming with Vibes and Vuvuzela’s…. Song and Dance….

I have been very blessed to go to one of many world cup games…. let me tell you, this was nothing short of an absolutely amazing event…. I love South Africa…. I love being a photographer in South Africa…. I love all South Africa has to offer….

Today, I have decided, that it will be bright….

WOW, now this was a wedding to remember! A simple two hour drive to Britz took Andrea and I six hours…. thank you to our GPS battery running flat…. the sand roads that even an army tank would have found difficult to conquer…. the locals not knowing what or where we were talking about…. all in a day’s work I say….

Nonetheless, this was a truly special wedding…. the scenery on the drive there and back was beautiful…. the venue itself was outstanding and worth a six hour drive…. Angie and Pierre were calm and simply gorgeous together…. thank you both for looking after Andrea and I, and for a wonderful, wonderful wedding shoot…. and thank you to your family who were warm and welcoming!

We had an amazing creative shoot…. vineyards and vintage cars, sunsets and scenery….

An elegant first dance under the magic ambiance of fairy lights….

It amazes me how time goes by so quickly…. been upgrading software and hardware over the last week or so…. time for a sneak peek….
