The day before Adele and Eugene’s wedding, it was pouring with rain. I was praying the rain would go away on their special day….. and on their wedding day, the skies were clear and the sun was bright, and then I was praying for clouds…. and moody skies…. (but no rain)…. the thoughts of a wedding photographer…. go figure
Thankfully all turned out well…. Â sunny skies throughout…. and then the sky darkened…. I was in my element….
A quick story about the next pic, I have been told that the easiest way to get a child to look at the camera is to ask them if they can see Barney in the lens…. I have tried this on several occasions and the next pic of Caitlyn is exactly that…. looking for Barney. Needless to say, the whole day and night she was desperately looking for him but he was nowhere in sight…. sorry Caitlyn…. but I did get some great pictures of you….

So, what do you get when you have a gorgeous couple –  getting married in Johannesburg with our unpredictable weather, and you throw in an architectural ruine, some beautiful green grass and some moody skies? …. a wedding as Adele said “that is simply top billing style” and perfect in every way….
Adele and Eugene, you were both so fantastic on the day, thank you for everything.
You were the Models of the century, fun, and energetic…. Being your wedding photographer was made very easy. A big thank you to your family as well, who made us feel warm and welcome. Wishing you both all the very best….

The next pic was taken by my second shooter Michael…. a cracker indeed!!
